Did you know one of the most popular Women's Studies textbooks is The Reader's Companion to U.S. Women's History? Sounds innocent enough, doesn't it. Well, right from the jump, the Editor's Note is written by Wilma Mankiller, for real. Kind of sums up Women's Studies doesn't it, and their influence in American culture and politics.

The books below in one way or another combat the mankillers that control our society and culture. If you think for a moment that our American justice or educational system is the best in the world then you better order some of these books up and start reading. The Rad-Fems control the place and we're in deep trouble because of it.

Books are listed in alphabetical order. This page is updated irregularly, but when we finish reading a bunch of books the good ones get put on this list and the junk we don't admit reading. If you have a book that you think should be included here please feel free to email me the information.

Abused Men

Phil Cook
ISBN: 0275958620, Hardcover - BUY

Abused Men was the first book to comprehensively examine the neglected social issue of abused men. It's packed with facts but includes gut wrenching true stories of abused men. The book offers practical solutions for reducing domestic violence regardless of the gender of the victims, as it should be.

Comeback Dads, Family Courts Rob Children of Their Dads

James Dunn
ISBN: 0977248003, Paperback - 16.95 BUY

The book that makes the case for "shared parenting", the California Shared Parenting Ballot Initiative, and keeping fathers in the lives of their children. The California Legislature is so biased against fathers that in 2005 a bill establishing shared parenting died in the Judiciary Committee gaining only one vote. Even the Republicans can't figure out how important father's are in the lives of children, and, of course the Democrats should be renamed the Femirat Party and opposes anything and everything good for children having to do with fathers, which they believe are dispensable. Several heart wrenching stories of children denied their fathers complete the book. Some of the profits from the sale go to support shared parenting lobbying efforts. Please buy one and help children keep their fathers.

Divorced Dads, Shattering the Myths

Sanford L. Braver and Diane O'Connell
ISBN: 087477862X, Hardcover - BUY

Basing his theories on a study he conducted over eight years with 1000 divorcing couples, Braver argues that faulty research and the need for a villain in divorce cases has fueled a "jeering chorus" of politicians, journalists and sociologists that has transformed bad fatherhood into "an obvious and defenseless scapegoat for the ills of society."

Domestic Violence, The 12 Things They Don't Want You to Know

Thomas B. James, J.D.
ISBN: 1593301227, Paperback - BUY

Is domestic violence strictly a male phenomenon? Are all women who abuse their partners acting in self-defense? Is domestic violence about male privilege, power and control? In this book, the author conducts a meticulous and thorough examination of the research on domestic violence, coming to the unsettling conclusion that virtually everything we think we know about domestic abuse is wrong. Exposing evidence of a deliberate governmental campaign to distort the truth and proliferate lies, Mr. James explains why honesty and candor are our only real hope for bringing an end to this enormous social problem.

Elusive Innocence, Survival Guide for the Falsely Accused

Dean Tong
ISBN: 1563841908, Paperback - BUY

At the center of this important (and frankly, long overdue) book about parents falsely accused of sexually abusing their children is a pernicious phenomenon called the "Sexual Allegations In Divorce" (SAID) syndrome. This syndrome is symptomatic of a legal and child protective services system gone horribly wrong, so that not only aren't the children being protected from abuse, they end up being abused by the system itself. This is a great resource for understanding false accusations and what to do about them.

Father's Rights: Hard Hitting & Fair Advice for Every Father Involved in a Custody Dispute

Jeffrey Leving, Jeffery M. Leving and Kenneth A. Dachman
ISBN: 0465023622, Paperback - BUY

Jeffery Leving has spent more than a decade in the trenches of domestic law. From that perspective, he gives men embroiled in custody disputes a powerful and impassioned voice in Fathers Rights. Arguing that men are disenfranchised and stigmatized by a biased legal system, Leving promises help through such difficulties as finding empathetic attorneys, avoiding unhealthy custody arrangements, protecting the child-parent relationship, and remaining financially solvent. Included is advice on how to demonstrate parental competence when falsely accused of abuse.

Gender-Inclusive Treatment of Intimate Partner Abuse: A comprehensive Approach

John Hamel
ISBN: 0826118739, Paperback - BUY

If you are interested in operating an effective gender bias free batter intervention program this book is a must read. Or, if you are just interested in the data and who does what to whom how many times Hamel analyzes crime surveys (almost junk), agency/archival data (junk), and general survey data (more balanced). Either way it's a great book and should be on the reading list of anyone interested in domestic violence.

High Conflict Personalities: Understanding and Resolving Their Costly Diputes

William A. Eddy
ISBN: 0972953604, Paperback - BUY

If you are stuck in a relationship with a crazy person there are a number of resources to help you take care of yourself within your relationship, like "Walking on Eggshells" and "Help, I'm in Love with a Narcissist.". Or, you might find books that help you decide whether or not to stay in the relationship or not, like "Too Good to Leave, Too Bad to Stay." This book not only provides insights on relationships you may wish to save, but explains what "crazy" really means in high conflict relationships and provides useful information for leaving the relationship, hopefully alive. Readers who need this sort of book may also find the following helpful: (1) William Eddy's other (new) book, "Splitting: Protecting Yourself While Divorcing a Borderline or a Narcissist," as well as his professional website. (2) the "Too Good To Leave" book listed above; (3) Susan Forward's book on "Emotional Blackmail."

Legalizing Misandry: From Public Shame to Systemic Discrimination Against Men

Paul Nathanson and Katerhine Young
ISBN: 0773528628, Hardcover - BUY

As of March 18, 2006 I have not read this, since Amazon does not have it in stock yet. However, Nathanson and Young's first such book, Spreading Misandry, is below in this book list and another must read. Here's the blurb from Amazon: "Lurid and sensationalized events such as the public response to Lorena Bobbitt after she cut off her abusive husband's penis, prurient fascination provoked by Anita Hill's allegations about Clarence Thomas, and the exploitation of the mass murder of fourteen women in Montreal have been processed through popular culture since the 1990s to produce pervasive misandry - contempt for men, the counterpart of misogyny. Paul Nathanson and Katherine Young believe that this reveals a shift in the United States and Canada to a worldview based on ideological feminism, which presents all issues from the point of view of women and, in the process, explicitly or implicitly attacks men as a class. They argue that ideological feminism is silently reshaping law, pubic policy, education, and journalism. Legalizing Misandry offers lively and compelling evidence to demonstrate the pervasiveness of this new thinking - from the courts, classrooms, government committees, and corporate bureaucracies to laws and policies affecting employment, marriage, divorce, custody, sexual harassment, violence, and human rights.

No More Secrets: Violence in Lesbian Relationships

Janice L. Ristock
ISBN: 0415929466, Paperback - $15.57 BUY

The first 80 or so pages seems to be an apology for not being able to write the rest of the book using feminist thought and theory, like perhaps the supposed "connected way of knowing" and "lateral thinking". Ristock has to revert to those horrendous patriarchal constructs of reason, logic, and scientific method to make sense out of the findings of her ambitious and landmark study on violence in lesbian relationships, which she doe exceedingly well. I'm surprised the rad-fems did not ride her out of the movement on a rail after tarring and feathering her first. Ristock frankly and eloquently explains why the rad-fems for decades hid from the public lesbian on lesbian violence, which does not only appear to be much more creative than heterosexual on heterosexual intimate violence, but just as frequent, if not more so. She even reports that almost half of lesbian couples experience sexual assaults perpetrated by their partner. Now, fifty percent is huge and substantially higher than male perpetrated violence on women. Interesting, don't you think. This is another must read, particularly for those who write about intimate violence.

Odd Girl Ourt

Rachel Simmons
ISBN: 0156027348, Paperback - 10.78 BUY

Anyone interested in men's, fathers, and family rights needs to read this book. It not only explains girl’s aggression but their obsessive drive for power and control. It indirectly explains why the Women Industries, particularly the domestic violence industry and family court system, are based mostly on an ideology riddled with outright lies, exaggerations, and misinformation. It is inconceivable that anyone can get a grasp of the significance of women's aggression in today's culture without reading this book. It should also be useful for anyone experiencing the horrendous consequences of having a relationship with a borderline personality disordered woman, since normal forms of female aggression are intensified in a personality disordered woman.

Pocketbook Power

Bernice Kanner
ISBN: 0071418601, Hardcover - BUY

"While women make up 52.1 percent of the U.S. population, they control two-thirds of the nation's disposable income..." and by 2020 they will control most wealth in American, most of which they gathered through divorce and inheritance. If you write about men's issues and father's rights this is a must resource, it's packed with facts, though like most feminist writers there are very few references to support them. No matter, the thing is more frightening that Stepehn King.

Professing Feminism : Education and Indoctrination in Women's Studies

Daphne Patai, Noretta Koertge
ISBN: 0739104551, Paperback - 28.00 BUY

This new and expanded edition is even harder hitting than Patai's 1994 book, with three new chapters expanding on what's gone wrong with Women's Studies programs. If you wonder why some people you talk with under the age of 40 seem like aliens, well, it's a good bet they took more than nine semester credits in Women's Studies in college. There's a good chance they hate men, bemoan the fall of the Iron Curtain, take no responsibility for anything, blame everything on anyone that does not agree with them, prefer fabrication over reality, and can get down right snotty if you disagree with their convulsions. If you think Steven King writes scary books you ain't seen nothin much more terrifying than Patai's work, and it's not fiction!

Self-Made Man

Norah Vincent
ISBN: 0670034665, Hardcover - 15.72 BUY

This is a hard to put down fascinating journey into the minds of men taken by a lesbian disguised as a man. Vincent concludes that men have it harder than women and treats her journey into manhood with a great deal of respect and sincere regard for her opposite sex.

Campell is psychologist and castigates his own profession for its role in false sexual abuse claims that have put innocent people behind bars, ruined families, and damaged patients in therapy. Not only does Campell dispell related myths, but he provides a step by step list of interrogatives to be used in court to discredit false accusations. This is another must read.

Spreading Misandry: The Teaching of Contempt for Men in Popular Culture

Paul Nathanson, Katherine K. Young
ISBN: Paul Nathanson, Katherine K. Young , Hardcover - BUY

Spreading Misandry is an extensive in depth analysis of antimale bias in the media, film, television, and other such things. Small print and hard to read, but packed with insights and substantiation for their findings. This is a fantasitic book for writers on gender issues and one of the few specificlly targeted at misandry.

Stop Walking on Eggshells, Taking Your Life Back

Paul T. Mason and Randi Kreger
ISBN: 157224108X, Paperback - BUY

Stop Walking on Eggshells: Coping When Someone You Care About Has Borderline Personality Disorder is a self-help guide that helps the family members and friends of individuals with borderline personality disorder (BPD) understand this self-destructive disorder and learn what they can do to cope with it and take care of themselves. However, it is a good starter for understanding other difficult people in your life that may have other character disorders, particularly those that become violent, appear manipulative, and fly off the handle with little or no warning.

The New Men's Studies

Eugene R. August
ISBN: 1563080842, Hardcover - BUY

Nearly twice the size of its predecessor, this revised edition of August's landmark work contains more than 1,000 entries that cover such subjects as men's awareness, health, and rights; heterosexuality; homosexuality; minority males; patriarchy; fathers; socialization of males; sports; the arts; humor; war and peace; and victims and victimizers. It is the first book-length bibliography of the new men's studies in existence. An extensive list of books from the widely publicized and controversial "mythopoetic" wing of men's studies covers such works as Robert Bly's Iron John. Each entry is fully annotated and describes the book's content and (where appropriate) its political stance. A unique feature of the annotations is the attention given to misandry or anti-male sexism, which portrays males as inherently evil or masculinity as irrevocably corrupted. Intended to complement library holdings on women's studies, the book is aimed at upper-level educators interested in reviewing current trends in men

The Professors: The 101 Most Dangerous Academics in America

David Horowitz
ISBN: 0895260034 , Hardcover - BUY

Publisher's Weekly bombed this book, but Horowitz with his usual directness and disdain for political correctness could probably care less. I bought it to find out who is who in Women's Studies; and he point’s fingers in that direction. Before you send you children to college you should read this book.

The War Against Boys

Christina Hoff Sommers
ISBN: 0684849577, Hardcover - BUY

"It's a bad time to be a boy in America," writes Christina Hoff Sommers. This is a frightening read. If you have ever wondered how we got to where we are with such bias toward men you have to read this book. It will open your eyes to how far radical feminism has corrupted out educational system and made sure boys are treated so unfairly.

Understanding the Borderline Mother : Helping Her Children Transcend the Intense, Unpredictable, and Volatile Relationship

Christine Ann Lawson
ISBN: 0765703319, Hardcover - 40.00 BUY

Absolutely the best book you may ever buy if you grew up with a personality-disordered parent, mother or father. This incredible book is easy to read, packed with references, and should touch the hearts of all that read it. It is these women who raise boys and girls to be abusive, lost, and debilitated. These women are largely responsible for most the false accusations that drive the Women Industries and Family Court Systems. This is a must read for anyone interested in domestic violence and equitable treatment by the Courts.

Violence & Gender Reexamined

Richard B. Felson
ISBN: 1557988951, Hardcover - 31.47 BUY

Felson, a professor of crime, law, and justice at Pennsylvania State University takes on the domestic violence industry and systematically destroys the highly publicized and institutionalized belief that misogyny drives domestic, or intimate, violence. It's about time! Absolutely a must read and resource for anyone working within the domestic violence industry. Felson and others have clearly established that intimate violence is caused by a number of overlapping factors, few of which have anything to do with the hatred of women.

Who Stole Feminism: How Women Have Betrayed Women

Christina Hoff Sommers
ISBN: 0671794248, Hardcover - BUY

No one can reasonably understand the contemporary hatred toward men and boys without having a basic understanding of radical feminism and the ideologues that promote it. "Who Stole Feminism" is hard to put down and should scare you into action, that is if you care about the men and boys in your life. This was the book that turned me into an activist.

Women Who Kill

Ann Jones
ISBN: 080706775X, Paperback - BUY

This book is a fascinating and much more than a study of women that kill. The first chapter is an incredible condensed history of women killers and the struggle for women's rights, this chapter also puts to rest many myths about oppressed women. Unfortunately, the author makes several false statements about female crime, like "women get heavier sentences than men, p. 9. In fact, the average sentence for men who murder is 17 years while the average sentence for women is seven years. No matter, this is another must read if you want to know how we got in the mess we are in.

Women Who Make the World Worse : and How Their Radical Feminist Assault Is Ruining Our Schools, Families, Military, and Sports

Katie O'Beirne
ISBN: 1595230092, Hardcover - $15.72 BUY

Holly molly! Katie slams to the mat man-haters Clinton the Hillary, Ginsberg the Ruth Bader, Fonda the Jane, and that big nosed skinny woman on Sex and the Pity that our weird world finds so attractive. O'Beirne names names in rad-fems nonstop march toward taking over our schools, families, military, and sports, all at the expense of men, children, and the women that love them. These rad-fems are a piece of work for sure. If you read "Odd Girl Out" and some of the books here about borderline personality disorders you may conclude that rad-fems are simply a collection of mentally ill women who can't keep a man because they are completely nutsoid and really belong in a straight jacket at mental institution.

Why Men Are the Way They Are

Warren Farrell
ISBN: 042511094X, Paperback - BUY

Warren Farrell is often referred to as the Father of the Men's Movement. Why Men Are the Way They Are is the primer for anyone interested in learning about men and men's rights, or the lack thereof. All his books are must reading.

Why Men Earn More: The Startling Truth Behind the Pay Gap -- and What Women Can Do About It

Warren Farrell
ISBN: 0814472109, Hardcover - BUY

Bottom line: Pay discrimination is generally myth. Women college graduates often have starting wages substantially higher than men for the same occupation. Women have more options to enter and leave the work force. Men work longer hours in more dangerous jobs. If there is wide spread wage discrimination, it's against men, not women.
