Ugh and Then Some
I'm really good looking, but you cannot tell it from the following video, which was done in December 2005 by William Wagner of On Second Thought Television, a long running Libertarian public access show in Santa Barbara, California. This, of course, is no fault of Mr. Wagner and has more to do with lighting, star alignment, constant indigestion from the work we do, frequent disagreements with gendersaurs, and to much starch in the diet. You can tell the toll men's advocacy takes on me by watching the video. I'm only 34-years-old, and look at all the gray hair. None the less, if you are interested in seeing one of the Mensbiz and cafeshops.com/mensbiz.com crew, here's your chance: Harry spouting off.
So in late April I did a 30 minute radio interview with Richard Davis for KRightsRadio (syndicated in 30 or so major markets). A few days later I get an e-mail from William wondering why I'm so popular. According to William his site registered 48,000 unique hits that went directly to the video he shot of me at the Men's Center. Go figure. Just so you know, I've been interviewed on television and radio more times than a bald cat has hair, unfortunately other appearances are on for profit networks and we're not sure if they'll sue us if we post the segments on Mensbiz, though we're still debating about it, so stay tuned...
Oh, the phone number shown in William's video is wrong. The right number is 619-231-1909, not 1903, which is a good thing if William really registered 48,000 unique hits to that video, since my phone would still be ringing off the hook if the phone number was right.

February 1, 2007: Advocates push gender-neutral domestic-violence laws
Men's News Daily contributor Ray Blumhorst is a plaintiff in this case and central figure in this widely read Sacramento, CA Capitol Weeklly newspaper:
"Men's advocates say they have moved closer to their goal of gender-neutral domestic-violence laws in the past week.
First, a group of men who say they were battered and threatened by their wives got their day in court this past Friday. The four plaintiffs in Woods v. California say they were denied their constitutionally mandated equal protection as they sought shelter services and police safeguards.."

January 29, 2007: National Coalition of Free Men, L.A. makes its presence know in CA’s Capitol - in Superior Court
On Thursday (January 25, 2007), members of the National Coalition of Free Men, Los Angeles flew and drove to Sacramento to attend a trial in Superior Court on Friday. The incredibly important lawsuit was addressing areas of California law, where it alleges California discriminates against men in domestic violence law, and in programs & services available for Mothers (but not Fathers) in CA prisons. Here is a link to a story that ran in the Capitol weekly: http://www.capitolweekly.net/news/article.html?article_id=1246
